Celebrating Israeli Independence

CELEBRATING ISRAELI INDEPENDENCE: More than 100 people, including several families from Israel, celebrated Yom Ha’atzmaut, Israel’s Independence Day, at the Oval on Tuesday morning, May 2. Hosted by the Jewish Federation of Greater Metrowest New Jersey, the event included the raising of the Israeli flag, shown above, in commemoration of Israel’s 69th anniversary. The event included speeches from civic and Jewish Federation leaders and musical performances.
