Sanskriti of New Jersey will host a Holi celebration this Sunday, May 11, from 1 to 4:30 p.m. at the gazebo at the Livingston Oval. The event was rescheduled from its original April date due to the rain.
Holi, the Indian festival of colors, signifies renewal, togetherness, and the triumph of good over adversity.
All are invited to witness and take part in the celebration, which will feature music – both Western and Bollywood – dance, food, and a burst of color. The colors used are organic and completely washable; they are safe for all ages and the environment.
