LHS Holds Arts Signing Day For Graduating Seniors

Over 30 graduating seniors were recognized at the Livingston High School Visual and Performing Arts Signing Day on Friday, May 2. This ceremony, started three years ago by LHS theater director Scott Patteson, honors students who plan to pursue an artistic focus in college and who submitted a portfolio, recordings of their work, or underwent a rigorous audition process in order to gain acceptance into their specific program.

This year, the LHS theater program has more stu-dents attending college for performance and technical theater than ever before. As a result, a large number of Lancers were honored during the event.

Ben Best will be attending Purchase College, where he will study graphic design. Jesse Carmody will study music production at Ramapo College of New Jersey. Aubrey Chaleff was accepted into Rutgers Mason Gross, where she will study visual arts. Antonia Chaparro will study both music production and songwriting at NewYork University. Maya Dickman will attend Binghamton University, where she plans to major in production design.

Karter Eagen will attend Pace University, where she will study production and design for stage and screen. Gabi Elchoness signed with Nazareth University to study musical theater. Mason Gennarelli will study music education at Montclair State University. Dylan Griffith signed with Emerson College to study film production. Leon Guo will attend Oberlin Conservatory to study clarinet performance.

Alexandra Halleran will study acting at Point Park University. Henry He signed with New York Film Academy to study acting for film and television. Ella Ruby Javellana Entrada will study fashion design at Pratt Insti(Continued on Page A-6) tute.Anna Krause signed with Syracuse University, where she will study broadcast journalism. Janelle Leigh will study interior design at Ohio State University. Ava-Rachel Lieber signed with New York University to study musical theater.

Lila Maru signed with Rider University, where she will study acting for film, television, and theater. Leila McMichael will study the music industry at UCLA. Hailey Meykler signed with Ithaca College, where she plans to study sound recording technology. Michael Mintz will study acting at Elon University. Cagan Ovul signed with the School of Visual Arts, where he will study illustration. Addison Pinto will study television, radio, and film at Syracuse University. Elliot Radler signed with Savannah College of Art and Design, where she will study film.

Alexis Rubinstein signed with Syracuse University, where she plans to study studio arts. Ryan Sansobrino will study media at Indiana University. Riley Skrief signed with Parsons School of Design, to study communications design. Dylan Sutton will attend Penn State University, where he will study film production. Jordan Talbot will attend Penn State University and study film production.Ava Thomas signed to study stage management at Ithaca College, Stage Management. Angelo Tsounakis will study acting at Pace University.
