On Sunday, May 4, several Livingston youth baseball players took part in the 2025 Mid-Atlantic Regional Mini and Junior Maccabi Games in Cherry Hill.
The 9U team, made up of all Livingston players and coached by Saul Farber, came in second behind a Cherry Hill team in the Mini Maccabi division. Zach Shamash and Ben Farber led the way on the pitching mound, dominating the opposition to carry the team to the gold medal game.
The 12U team earned a bronze medal in the Junior Maccabi division, with a 3-1 record, losing to Baltimore in the semi finals 7-5. The team was led by head coach Justin Friedman and assistant coach Jake Wolin, a member of the Livingston High School junior varsity baseball team.
During the bronze medal game, the 12U team defeated Cherry Hill, 13-5. Mahoney, Friedman, and Krantz all earned wins on the pitching mound, and Ryan Mirman closed out two victories. Friedman led the way on offense, finishing with six hits and one RBI. Krantz cemented the victory with a home run to center field. Ryan Mirman had the final hit of the day to end the bronze medal game in a victory.

9U’s coaches were Saul Farber,Adam Sandman, Josh Glazer, Evan Brustein, and Tim Watson.
The 12U team was coached by Justin Friedman and Jake Wolin. The team was made up of players Leo Krantz, Brandon Mahoney, Drew Lederman, Dylan Spector, Gavin Merves, HudsonWeisenberg, Jackson Eisner, Lucas Marchal, Ryan Mirman, Spencer Friedman, Tyler Black, and Tyler Gottlieb.
