The Livingston school district finds itself in a very precarious position. At a time when our district is beginning a search for a new superintendent, at a time when we have an interim assistant superintendent for special services and we are attempting to bring our special needs population back to their home district, at a time when the future of our technology is being decided; and at a time when most of the elementary schools will be under construction, we find ourselves with three seats open for the Board of Education in the November election and, so far, only one candidate.
