Dorothy Naylor Dies in Holmdel

Former Livingston "first lady" Dorothy Naylor, 94, died Friday morning, July 18, at the Willows in Holmdel. Mrs. Naylor was privately cremated. Mrs. Naylor was born Dorothy Keiper on April 20, 1920 in Brooklyn, New York, where she grew up. She lived in Livingston for 36 years, before moving to Seven Lakes, North Carolina, in 1985. In 2009, she settled in Holmdel. She was predeceased by her husband, Jack Naylor, who served as mayor of Livingston in the 1960s. She is survived by her children, Gary D. Naylor and his wife, Mary, of Leland, North Carolina; and Lynn Davis and her husband, Lee, of Saint Cloud, Florida; along with four grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
