Inaugural tevlin lacrosse festival Draws Crowd of 300 to Kelly field

More than 300 people attended the inaugural Brendan Tevlin Lacrosse Festival on Saturday, August 2, at Seton Hall Prep's Kelly Athletic Complex in West Orange. Bagpipers led the four teams of about 100 players on to the field. "It was a great way to honor Brendan," said Richard Shahpazian, one of the organizers. Tevlin, the 19 year old Livingston youth who was murdered on June 25, had been a member of the lacrosse club at the University of Richmond, where he had fi nished his freshman year.
