Private Services For John Bramhall Sr.

Private funeral services were held for John Bramhall Sr., 76, who died August 7 in his Denville home. A Memorial Mass will be held on Sunday, September 21, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Denville for Mr. Bramhall, and his wife of 53 years, Joan, who also died August 7 at home. Mr. Bramhall, who was born in Orange, grew up in Livingston and moved to Denville in 1980. He served in the US Navy from 1959 to 1962 and was the owner of Bramhall Construction in Denville, where he built and renovated many homes. Preceded in death by his daughter, Debbie Herring, Mr. Bramhall is survived by two sons and their wives, Brian and Theresa Bramhall of Diamond Point, New York, and John and Melinda Bramhall Jr. of Boonton; a daughter, Lori Cassela of New York; a brother, Richard; two sisters, Roberta and Alice; and nine grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 400 Morris Avenue, Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834. ...
