Philip J. Loria

A funeral Mass was offered yesterday, Wednesday, for Philip J. Loria of Landing, formerly of Livingston. Mr. Loria died August 23 at the age of 66. Interment was at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. Arrangementswere by the Farmer Funeral Home of Roseland; condolences and memories may be shared at www.farmerfuneral.com. Mr. Loria grew up in Livingston, then lived in Netcong for 17 years before settling in Landing in 2007. For more than 28 years, he was a butcher for Kings Supermarket in Morristown. He was a member of Local 464A, based in Little Falls. In his early years, he was a professional trainer and handler of Irish setters, competing in various dog shows and kennel clubs. Mr. Loria was pre-deceased by his mother, Doris Loria, and his brotherin- law, Ernest L. Viviani. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Donna (Viviani) Loria; his children, Donna, Albert, and Mary; his sister-in-law, Cindy Viviani; his father, Philip; and his brother, Ronald. The family has announced that donations in Mr. Loria's memory may be made to the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, c/o Support Pediatric Cancer Research, P.O.
