Dinner Makes a Difference

"Family Day: A Day to Eat Dinner with Your Children" was launched in 2001 by the National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse at Columbia University. Family Day teaches parents that discussions held during family dinners are an effective tool to help keep kids substance-free. In the past the Livingston Municipal Alliance (LMAC) has run special events on National Family Eat Together Day to encourage Livingston families to have an evening together. This year, however, no special events are planned.
