Livingston resident Robert James Doherty, Jr., 36, died from pancreatic cancer at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City on September 16. Funeral arrangements were by Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home of Livingston. Mr. Doherty was born in Kings Park, New York and resided in Livingston for the past ten years. He was an amazing father and family man who also loved the Mets, the Jets, camping, and coaching his boys. He is survived by his wife, Linda J. Doherty (nee Kates); sons, Robby and Ryan; father, Robert Doherty Sr. of Stonybrook, New York; sisters, Michelle Doherty and Christine Doherty Martin and her husband Kenny Martin of Levittown, NY.
