Services Held Sat. For Roger N. Ruben

Roger N. Ruben, a resident of Livingston for many years, died Tuesday, November 25. He was 78 years old. Funeral services were held at Grace Lutheran Church of Livingston on Saturday, November 29, with interment at Restland Memorial Park in East Hanover. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Mr. Ruben was a graduate of Grover Cleveland High School. He worked as a funeral director for 20 years, then as a typewriter repair instructor for Adler-Royal Business Machine. He was later employed as a crossing guard in Livingston for many years. Mr. Ruben was a long-time member of Grace Lutheran Church, where he also served as the property management chairman. He was also a member of the Livingston Masonic Lodge Surviving Mr. Ruben are his wife of 50 years, Ruth; his children, Tina Levorse and her husband, Mark; Terri Tweedie and her husband, Craig; and Wayne and his wife, Lisa; and five grandchildren The family has noted that memorial donations in Mr. Ruben’s name may be made to Grace Lutheran Church, 304 South Livingston Avenue, Livingston, NJ 07039; or to a charity of one’s choice. ...
