Memorial Service for Robert fidler

Robert (Bob) Ward Fidler, recently of Livingston, died on January 14, at the age of 87. He will be interred in his birthplace of Duanesburg, New York in the spring. Memorial services will be held in Duanesburg and his long-time hometown of New Sharon, Maine at that time. Mr. Fidler began his pastoral career in the Methodist Church and was later ordained by the Assemblies of God. He was also a high school guidance counselor and psychologist. In retirement he worked as a living history museum guide. His home sheltered more than 20 foster children over 35 years. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Lillian; children, Bruce (Karen) Fidler, Jan (Cliff) Powers, Beth (Jim) Rogers, and Ronald (Vickie) Fidler; a sister, Dora (Cal) Humphrey; 12 grandchildren, and nine greatgrandchildrens. He was predeceased by sister Paulina Stewart and brother George Fidler. In lieu of fl owers, the family suggests donations to the New Sharon Congregational Church, New Sharon, Maine 04955, or Barn Raising Campaign of Washburn-Norlands, 290 Norlands Road, Livermore, Maine 04253. ...
