Livingston Fire Department volunteers assisted at the scene of a motor vehicle accident and handled several weather-related calls this week due to extremely cold temperatures. Fire officials were on the scene, with police officers and construction officials, when an SUV crashed through the entrance way of 315 East Northfield Road on Friday, February 13. They checked on damage to the building and shut off the electric supply to the area. Fire officials noted that the structure was deemed safe by construction officials and the owner of the building boarded up the hole that was left by the vehicle.
