The Livingston Board of Education on Monday evening approved two resolutions, one urging a moratorium on the PARCC (Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers) testing and one urging an end to the superintendent salary cap. As of Monday night, the district had received approximately 400 letters from parents asking that their students not take the PARCC assessments, interim superintendent of schools Jim O'Neill announced.
