Janet Knutsen, 87, died on Monday, March 2, at Crane’s Mill in West Caldwell. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 7, at 10 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, Livingston. Born in Staten Island, New York, Mrs. Knutsen resided in Livingston for 41 years before moving to West Caldwell. She was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church, where she was the past president and secretary. She was also active at Crane’s Mill as head of the Welcoming Committee and Food Committee for 12 years. Mrs. Knutsen is survived by her husband of 59 years, Arthur. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 6, from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, of Livingston, In lieu of flowers, donations in Mrs. Knutsen's name may be made to Grace Lutheran Church, 304 S. Livingston Ave., Livingston, NJ 07039.
