Seymour B. Farber

Seymour B. Farber, 88, died on Saturday, March 14. Mr. Farber was born in Coney Island and resided in Livingston for the last 40 years. Funeral arrangements were by Bernheim- Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel of Livingston. A veteran of the Korean War, Mr. Farber was an educator in the Newark school system for 42 years, starting as an art teacher and retiring as a vice principal. He also spent many years working with the New Jersey “Y” camps, including serving on their Board of Directors. Mr. Farber is survived by his wife of 59 years, Helen; his two children, Barry (and his wife, Allison) and Sharon (and her husband, Jeff). He also leaves behind his brother and sister-in-law, Lee and Judy, and fi ve grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the Scholarship Fund of the New Jersey “Y” camps. ...
