Lucy S. Ting, 93, of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania died April 16 at Phoenixville Hospital. Born near Suzhou, China, she left China in 1948 to pursue graduate study in economics at Montana State College in Bozeman, Montana. There, she married Andrew P. Ting, to whom she was married for 55 years until his death in 2003. Mrs. Ting had been a long-time resident of Livingston before moving to and Allentown, Pennsylvania. While living in New Jersey, she had a career with the NJ Department of Transportation. She is survived by two sons, Harold of Berwyn, Pennsylvania and Ernest of Oakland, California; and five grandchildren.
