Frank J. Stolese, WW II Veteran, Dies

A funeral service was held on May 1 at St. Philomena's Church in Livingston for Frank J. Stolese, 94, who died on April 27. Born on August 25, 1920 in Newark, Mr. Stolese moved to Livingston in 1937. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. A member of the Rotary and Elks Clubs, Mr. Stolese was a real estate broker and, in 1969, became a founding partner of Nero's Restaurant. Mr. Stolese is survived by three daughters, Andrea Ubaldi, Connie Wolf, and Pam Jones; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and his companion, Jacqueline Godown.
