Funeral Services For Robert Honor

Robert S. Honor of University Park, Florida, formerly of Livingston, died April 28 after a lengthy illness. A graveside service was held on May 1, and a celebration of Dr. Honor's life will be held in Florida. Born in New York City on April 2, 1936 to Leo and Pauline Honor, Mr. Honor graduated from the City College of New York in 1958 with a degree in chemical engineering. He pursued his juris doctor degree from Seton Hall at night while working and raising his family. Mr. Honor retired as patent counsel in 1997 after 30 years with Sandoz and then Novartis in the development of innovative pharmaceuticals. He volunteered in literacy and adult special needs. Surviving Mr. Honor are his wife of 57 years, Jean; his children Michael Honor, Barbara Rothberg Honor, Kim Honor Matkovsky and Philip Matkovsky, four grandchildren, and his brother, Jules Honor. The family has suggested that contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. ...
