The boys' volleyball team ended its regular season on Friday with a 2-0 win over Bloomfield after defeating the science Park Chargers, 2-1, for its fifth consecutive Conference title in as many years, bringing its season record to 21-4. In the final phase of the season, the state tournament, the Lancers will begin their quest in the North 2 section of the state as the #2 seed behind Harrison high at #1. With a first round bye, the second round will take place at 4 p.m. in the Fitness and Wellness Center today against the winner of Millburn and North 13th St. High School. The next rounds will be on May 27, followed by the finals for the section on May 29 at the highest remaining seeded team's venue. The state semi-finals and finals will take place at South Brunswick High School with the winners of N1, N2, Central and South, on June 2 and 4.
