Graveside Services For Eugene Kleinwaks

Eugene Kleinwaks, 91, of Boca Raton, Florida, formerly of Livingston, died at home on May 14. Graveside services were held on Sunday, May 17, at Mount Lebanon Cemetery in Iselin. Born in Newark to Nathan and Clara Kleinwaks, "Bullet" played football for Weequahic High School. He served in the U.S. Navy as a pilot. A Tau Beta Pi graduate of Lehigh University, Mr. Kleinwaks was an engineer by profession. He married Rosalind Teitelbaum, and they settled in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, where he started a variety of businesses, in particular, the Penguin Ice Cream Company. The couple later returned to New Jersey, settling in Livingston, where they raised their family. Mr. Kleinwaks, a member of Temple Beth Shalom, was the owner of Kleinwaks and Company, a real estate brokerage, building and development, and management firm. Surviving are his wife of 67 years, Rosalind; his children, Lorrie Hertzberg, Jeffrey (Diana) Kleinwaks, and Randy (Tracey) Kleinwaks; a sister, Eleanor Parker; seven grandchildren and two great-gr ndchildren, ...
