Upon graduation, Mr. Hannoch joined the United States Navy, where he remained until he went to college at Rutgers. Mr. Hannoch had a very successful business career as a real estate appraiser and counselor. He was a member of the American Society of Real Estate Counselors, a professional society to which membership was only available by invitation for excellence in the profession. He served as the national chairman in 1994 and was a founding member of the New Jersey chapter. Mr. Hannoch was also a member of the American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers and served as president of the NJ Chapter. Mr. Hannoch was also involved with numerous community, social, religious, and philanthropic organizations. For several years he was the president of the Family Service and Child Guidance Center of the Oranges and Maplewood. He was a board member of the Congregation B’nai Jeshurun and served as president of Mountain Ridge Country Club for four years. He was a supporter of the New Jersey Symphony. Franklin Hannoch Jr. will be greatly missed by all, especially his loving family members. ...
