Funeral services were held at Menorah Chapels at Millburn in Union on Tuesday, June 9, for Samuel Stein. Mr. Stein died at the age of 89 at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston on Saturday, June 6. Born in Passaic, Mr. Stein resided in Livingston for almost 60 years. He was a veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Mr. Stein was an executive with ResistoFlex, a manufacturing company specializing in jet engine parts, for 33 years, prior to his retirement in 1988. He was the husband of 63 years to Myra; father of Nancy Blankstein and her husband, Ken; Robert Stein and his wife, Trisha; and grandfather of three.
