Offer Mass Today For Jean Gerbereux

Jean A. Gerbereux, 83, of Hackettstown, formerly of Livingston, died Saturday, June 6, at Heath Village Retirement Community, Hackettstown. Born June 29, 1931 in Jersey City, Mrs. Gerbereux had lived in the Hackettstown area for the past eight years and was a member of Our Lady of the Mountain Church. Previously, she and her family resided in Livingston, where she was an active member of St. Philomena R.C. Church. Mrs. Gerbereux participated with the Rosary Society, Choir and served as a lector at St. Philomena's. Previously, she belonged to St. Joseph’s Church in Jersey City. Mrs. Gerbereux is survived by five daughters, Michelle (Michael) Warbeck of Cranford; Nanette (Fedele) Fabiano of Sparta; Denise (Victor) Eccles of Piscataway; Claudette (William) Hoffmann of Hackettstown; and Danielle (Brian) Riccitelli of Annandale; and four sisters, Viola Suruda, Joanne Dzitko, Irene Ritzer, and Alice Farrell. In addition, she is survived by ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian burial will take place at St. Philomena R.C. Church, Livingston, at 10:30 a.m. today, Thursday, June 11. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 400 Morris Ave, Suite 251, Denville, NJ, 07834-1365.
