Minette Straubing Succumbs at Home

Minette (Gecht) Straubing died in her sleep in her Livingston residence on June 29, at the age of 90. Funeral services will be conducted from the Menorah Chapels at Millburn in Union today, Thursday, July 2, at 11:30 a.m. Born in Newark, Mrs. Straubing lived in South Orange, before moving to Livingston. She was a 1942 graduate of Weequahic High School and was employed as a secretary for Straubing & Rubin of South Orange for 20 years. Predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Arthur, and her sisters, Jenni, Evelyn and Sarah, Mrs. Straubing leaves three children, Stephen, Howard (Nancy), and Gail DeMastis (Bruno), and seven grandchildren. ...
