To Speak or Not to Speak

There has been a lot of furor over the propriety of allowing governor Chris Christie to use Livingston High School as a venue to announce his candidacy for the Republican nomination for President of the United States. The Board of Education has a very clear policy, #7510, which states that "The use of school facilities and grounds shall not be granted for partisan political activity, private social functions, or any purpose that is prohibited by law."
