Next Tuesday evening, August 4, Livingston residents will head over to the Oval to take part in the township's annual National Night Out, an event that celebrates community while increasing awareness of crime and drug prevention. Sponsored by the Livingston Police Department, the National Night Out offers an opportunity for residents, young and old, to come together as neighbors. We think that holding the event on the first Tuesday in August is the perfect time. No school, no holidays, no pressure. Just an invitation to enjoy a summer evening in town.
