Martin Rabinowitz Succumbs at Age 87

Martin Rabinowitz, 87, of Florham Park, died on Sunday, July 26. Born in Poughkeepsie, New York to Jake and Fanny Rabinowitz, he resided in Livingston from 1969 to 1989. After graduating high school, he joined the Army, where he served for two years. He then attended Brooklyn Poly Tech under the GI Bill and earned a bachelor's and then a master's degree in electrical engineering. He worked for various engineering firms from 1954 to 1977. In 1977, Mr. Rabinowitz founded Triangle Microwave, which he ran until 1988 when he took the company public shortly before retiring. Surviving are his wife, Lorraine Rabinowitz; children, Paul Rabinowitz and his wife, Megan, of Morristown; Sharon Holyoak of Pittstown; and Judy Kannell and her husband, George, of Florham Park; a brother, Al Robbins; and eight grandchildren.
