Hold Private Services For Clarice Flexner

Former long-time Livingston resident Clarice Judith Colton Flexner died on August 9 in Wilmington, North Carolina. She was 92 years old. Mrs. Flexner had previously lived in Livingston for nearly 60 years. She was a lifelong member of Temple Emanu-El in Livingston, for which she served as housing chairwoman for many years. She was also active in the Kidney Research Foundation of New Jersey, having been one of the founding members of its Ruth Papier Chapter. A private funeral service will be conducted by the Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, and she will be interred at Beth Israel Cemetery in Woodbridge. Mrs. Flexner is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Jenine Flexner of Oak Island, North Carolina; her sister-in-law, Marilyn Colton of Rockaway; and three grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Irving, and her brother, Malcolm Colton. The family has suggested that memorial gifts in Mrs. Flexner's name be made to the Kidney Research Foundation of New Jersey. ...
