Funeral on Saturday For Frederick Walsh

Frederick Walter "Rick" Walsh Jr., a former Livingston resident, died unexpectedly on Sunday, August 16, at the age of 64. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, August 22, from noon to 3 p.m. at the Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Wharton. A funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private. Condolences may be offered at www.berminghamfh.com. Mr. Walsh was born in Montclair and was graduated from Livingston High School in 1970. He played contrabass in the Garfield Cadets, and was an active alumnus. In 1971, he joined the United States Army, and served in Okinawa, Japan. He was honorably discharged in 1973. He had a 30-year career at Corporate Communications Group as vice president of printing services. He recently moved to Frankford, Delaware, where he had built a house. Surviving Mr. Walsh are his wife of 43 years, Donna; his son, Frederick, of Havertown, Pennsylvania; his sisters, Jean Cilento and Jackie Narango, both of Huntersville, North Carolina; his brother, Donnie Walsh of Lake Hopatcong; and two grandchildren.
