Daniel Goodman of Livingston died July 20. He was born in Thompsonville, Connecticut. A veteran of World War II, he was stationed in Ipswich, England for the duration of the war. Mr. Goodman earned a B.B.A. from the City College of New York. He received an M.B.A. from the New York University Graduate School of Business Administration, with a major in taxation. A certified public accountant for many years, he maintained an office in Livingston. He was a member of Temple Beth Shalom in Livingston and served as treasurer in the Livingston Lodge of B’nai Brith from 1977 to 1979. As a member of the Jewish War Veterans, Livingston Post 740, he took part in fund-raising activities for that organization. In addition, he was a volunteer ESL tutor. He is survived by his wife, Ruth; his two sons, Robert and Dr. Harold; his three daughters, Karen Lautman, Susan Teicher, and Nancy Goodman; and five grandchildren. Services were held July 23 in Norwalk, Connecticut.
