Water Supplies Becoming Strained; Additional Water Restrictions Possible

As the hot, dry weather continues, Livingston's wells have so far been meeting the demand, but additional, emergency water restrictions are a very real possibility, according to Department of Public Works superintendent Mike Anello. Other communities have already instituted severe water restrictions, but thanks to permanent year 'round restrictions in place, Livingston has held off doing so, he said.
