A number of parents and others affiliated with Livingston Huaxia Chinese School, which uses the Mt. Pleasant Middle School building on Saturdays, attended the Board of Education's meeting on Wednesday and spoke about the Board's new contract with the school. The new contract eliminates the use of the middle school cafeteria and provides the use of a second location, Harrison School. It was signed after talks between the district and Huaxia School. Residents who live around the school have complained about parking and traffic issues for several years.
