Longtime Livingston residents, Mr. Harold William Kane, 84, died on September 19 at the John F Kennedy Medical Center in Edison, N.J. His wife, A. Leona Kane, 87, died on September 20 at the Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center in Edison. A graveside service will be held at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover on Friday, September 25, at 1 p.m. Arrangements are by the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main St., Succasunna, N.J., 973-584-7264, davishepplewhitefh.com. Mr. and Mrs. Kane were both born in Newark and lived in Livingston for most of their lives. Mr. Kane served in the U.S. Marine Corps and later worked as a meter technician for PSE&G in Clifton, N.J. Mrs. Kane was a secretary for Feid Plumbing in Livingston. They were parishioners of St. Philomena's R.C. Church in Livingston. Mr. and Mrs. Kane are survived by their son, Mark J. Kane, and his wife, Barbara, of Roxbury Township, N.J., and their grandchildren: Kristin of Odenton, Maryland, Kathryn of Livingston, and Daniel of Roxbury.
