Former Livingston resident Irene C. Weiss, 83, died Thursday, October 15, at the Daughters of Israel in West Orange. A graveside service was held on Sunday, October 18. Arrangements were made by Menorah Chapels at Millburn. Mrs. Weiss grew up in the Weequahic section of Newark, and attended the University of Wisconsin and New York University. She was the owner/manager of Plant Parenthood, a business that provided green plants for interior spaces, and volunteered at Overlook Medical Center and Morristown Medical Center. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Ravin Libman and son-in-law, Jeffrey Libman, of Randolph; her daughter, Judith Ravin; and three grandchildren.
