Elizabeth Mita of Livingston died Wednesday, October 28. Funeral arrangements were by Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home of Livingston. Mrs. Mita grew up in Newark, daughter of Lawrence and Marie Russomanno and the sister of Grace Cocuzza, Lucille Pacchia, Jerry, the late Larry and Anthony Russomanno and the sister-in-law of Claire Russomanno, Cynthia Russomanno, and Stella Lafauci. She resided for most of her life in Livingston and Lavallette. She was a founding member of Livingston’s American Little League, and a long-time member of the Livingston Women’s Club, the Rosary Society, and St. Philomena’s Choir.
Mrs. Mita was the wife of the late Anthony F. Mita, and the mother of Anthony and his wife, Cindy; Marianne, and her husband, John; Rocco and his wife Wendy; Michael; and David. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.
