Funeral Mass Thursday For Louis Vinciquerra

Livingston resident Louis M. Vinciquerra died Saturday, October 31, in Saint Barnabas Medical Center at the age of 94. The funeral will be held today, Thursday, November 5, at 10 a.m. at Farmer Funeral Home, 45 Roseland Avenue, Roseland. A funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. at St. Philomena Church, 386 South Livingston Avenue, Livingston. Entombment will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. Condolences may be shared on-line at farmerfuneral.com. Mr. Vinciquerra was born in Newark and lived there until moving to Livingston 13 years ago. He was a tool and die maker for Caporaso Tool and Die for many years, retiring at the age of 68. He served in the Army, with the rank of corporal, during World War II. He was a member of the Catholic War Veterans and the Holy Name Society of St. Francis Xavier Church, Newark. Surviving are his wife, Carmella (nee Moschella); his daughters, Carol Forst and Lois Valvano; his siblings, Joseph and Rosemarie Vinciquerra; and three grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren. Mr. Vinciquerra was predeceased by his brothers, James, Vincent, and Ralph, and his sisters, Theresa Scafone, Antoinette Cuono, and Jeanne Bocchino. In lieu of flowers, the family has noted that donations may be made in his memory to the Livingston First Aid Squad, 62 South Livingston Avenue, Livingston, NJ 07039; or to the Saint Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care Center, 95 Old Short Hills Road, West Orange, NJ 07052. ...
