Robert Patrick Toole of Detroit, Michigan, formerly of Livingston, died September 24. He was 48 years old. A memorial visitation will take place today, Thursday, November 5, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the O'Boyle Funeral Home, 309 Broad Street, Bloomfield. A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 6, at 10 a.m. at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 225 Ridgedale Avenue, East Hanover. Mr. Toole grew up in Livingston, where he attended St. Philomena School. He was graduated from Seton Hall Preparatory School in 1985, and from Providence College in 1989. He worked as a salesman for Bresser Information Services in Detroit. Mr. Toole was the son of the late John and Bonnie McKenna Toole; the brother of Conor Toole and his wife, Melissa, of Middletown, Maryland. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. The family has announced that, in lieu of flowers, donations in Mr. Toole's memory may be made to Seton Hall Preparatory School, 120 Northfield Avenue, West Orange, NJ 07052.
