It's not that I am not thankful. I really am. I am thankful for my family, friends, health, home, job, and whatever other positive blessings I have in my life at the current moment. I am thankful. I just don't want to do Thanksgiving. One of the reasons I am so "turned off the turkey" may be because about seven years ago, I inherited from my great-grandparents every major holiday. Not that they didn't deserve a break. They hosted all major holidays from as far back as I can remember. At the age of 80, they decided to call it quits.
