The first steps in the search for a permanent superintendent of schools in Livingston, a series of public and staff forums, are currently underway. James O'Neill, a retired educator who served Livingston as interim superintendent last year, has been hired by the Board of Education to assist with the search and is leading the forums. Input gained from the forums will be used help the Board in its search, O'Neill said.
