Funeral Mass Offered For Gaetano Longo

Gaetano Paul "Tom" Longo of Montville, formerly of Livingston, died in his home on Saturday, December 5. He was 94 years old.Arrangements were by the Par-Troy Funeral Home of Parsippany. Mr. Longo was born in Detroit, Michigan, and lived in Manhasset, Long Island; New York City; and Livingston before moving to Montville in 1999. He served in the United States Army Air Force during World War II, from August, 1942 until being honorably discharged with the rank of sergeant in October, 1943. He owned Structural Stone and Brick Company in Fairfield for more than 65 years. Mr. Longo was predeceased by his brother, Rocco, who died this past July. He is survived by his wife, Karen A. (nee LaCarrubba); his son, Alan Frumolt of Montville; his daughter, Colleen McHugh and her husband, Robert, of Mine Hill; and four grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren. The family has requested that donations in Mr. Longo's memory be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000 (Dept. 300), Memphis, TN 38148. ...
