At the close of each year, the Township recognizes staff members who have provided exemplary service to the Livingston community. The goal of the recently held sixth annual Employee Recognition Program was to recognize significant contributions in areas relating to improving operation, cost savings, promoting team spirit, improving the image and reputation of the Township, and customer satisfaction. Both full-time and part-time employees are nominated by their colleagues, and the selection committee is made up of Township employees. There are seven categories of Awards: Employee of the Year, Customer Service, Teamwork, Innovation, Sunshine, Mentor, and Pride.
