Trevor Lee Swartz of Parsippany died Wednesday, December 16, at the age of 43. A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 19, at the Hancliff Home for Funerals in East Hanover. Born in Livingston, Mr. Swartz resided in East Hanover before moving to Parsippany. A graduate of Hanover Park High School, he was employed as a stone mason for the Livingston Department of Public Works for the past ten years. He was a former parishioner of St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church in East Hanover and a member of the Livingston Elks' Lodge No. 1855. Mr. Swartz is survived by his son, Maximillian of Pine Brook; his parents, Joan (Merkel) and Lt. Thomas W. Swartz Sr. East Hanover Police Department (Ret.) of Conway, South Carolina; his brothers, Thomas Swartz Jr. of Parsippany and Troy Vernon Swartz and his wife, Michele, of Lake Hiawatha; and his former companion, Brandy Garrido of Pine Brook. It was suggested that memorial donations be made to his family in lieu of flowers.
