LHS Boys' Track and Field Team Competes at Warrior Classic Meet

The Livingston High School track and field team left the comforts of home on Friday, January 8, and traveled out west to compete in the Warrior Classic at East Stroudsburg University. "The atmosphere was great, as the squad would be competing regionally against many unknown opponents," recounted coach Dave Czeizinger. "The meet provided many opportunities for most of the athletes to compete in multiple events. The boys' team had many good performances for the day." The meet opened with the 3,200 meter run. LHS put T.J. Herman, Eric Mooney and Jonathan Ackerman on the line. They all ran the grueling race of 16 laps on the indoor track very well, with Herman recording a personal best 10:08 which put him in second place in the event.   To view more please log in or subscribe to the digital edition  ...
