Audrey Lynn Brecher Dies on February 7

Audrey Lynn Brecher, 67, died at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston on Sunday, February 7, after a three-and-a-half-year battle with cancer. Mrs. Brecher was born in Passaic, and graduated from Passaic High School in 1966. She received her B.A. in early elementary education from Fairleigh Dickinson University and taught in several school districts. She also founded Gala Affaire, a balloon and party decorating business. Shortly after marrying Jack Brecher, who was her next door neighbor, in 1969, the couple moved to Livingston. Mrs. Brecher is survived by her husband, Jack; her daughter, Amy, and her fiance, Tyrus Minier; her son, David, and his wife, Michelle; a grandson; her mother, Libby Bitterman; and her sister, Judy Gothelf and her husband, Steven Gothelf. Arrangements were by the Jewish Memorial Chapel in Clifton. Donations may be made to the Cancer Center/Oncology Services at Saint Barnabas Medical Center. ...
