Dr. George Bargoud

Dr. George Bargoud, 84, passed away on Saturday January 30, 2016 in Cairo, Egypt. He was the loving husband of Linda Bargoud, sharing 55 wonderful years of marriage together. Born in Cairo, Egypt, he was graduated from Cairo University. After working many years as a practicing ophthalmologist, Dr. Bargoud began working for Organon Inc. He transferred to the West Orange, NJ branch in 1987, which resulted in his move to Livingston. He was a member of both St. Philomena Roman Catholic Church in Livingston and Sacred Heart Armenian Catholic Church in Little Falls. He will be remembered for his kind, caring manner, warm smile, endless desire to learn about medical advances, and a charming ability to find humor in just about everything. In addition to his wife Linda, Dr. Bargoud is survived by two sisters, Nelly and Sylvie; four children, Brigitte Naggar and her husband Antoine, John Bargoud and his wife Sharon, Raouf Bargoud and his wife Carol, and Gerard Bargoud and his wife Lana; and by 12 grandchildren, Stephanie, Dominique, Catherine, Christopher, Patrick, Valerie, Thomas, George, Charlotte, Albert, Mia, and Talia.
