The Livingston Township Council encouraged participatory government on Monday evening when it decided to hold a special meeting next week to hear public input on a newly proposed water ordinance, which was introduced and discussed at the Council's meeting on February 22. The Council approved the first reading of the ordinance and scheduled a final vote to be held this coming Monday, March 14. The vote has been put on hold to allow residents to provide feedback on the matter at a meeting that will be held at Town Hall on Thursday, March 17, at 6 p.m.
