C. Michael Vovakes of Livingston died on Monday, March 7. Visitation will be held today, Thursday, March 10, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home of Livingston. The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 11, at 10 a.m. at S.s. Nicholas, Constantine, and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, Roseland. Born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to Michael and Mary Vovakes, Mr. Vovakes resided in Livingston for many years. A certified public accountant, he owned Fiducial Tax and Business Services in Upper Montclair. He was graduate of Pennsylvania State University and Rutgers University, where he earned an M.B.A. He was Rotarian and a member of the AHEPA. Mr. Vovakes is survived by his wife, Marie, and cousins, nieces, nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested that donations be made to a charity of one's choice.
