Township Manager Introduces 2016 Budget; Proposes Lowest Tax Increase in 12 Years

At the Township Council meeting on Monday evening, township manager Michele Meade introduced Livingston's 2016 municipal budget, which she said features the lowest tax increase since 2004. A public hearing on the proposed budget will be held at the Council's meeting on April 25. The proposed spending plan will cost the owner of a home assessed at approximately $605,000, about $47.43 in additional taxes, Meade said.
